Autumn is my favorite season. I love spring, because of the green and the flowers and the warm coming back. And summer because, again, I live being warm. But there’s something about the smell and color of Autumn that really fills my heart. To say nothing of Halloween <3

So while the trees haven’t started to turn yet, and we’re getting hammered by tropical storms and hurricanes and run of the mill end of summer thunder storms, I’m doing some test-baking for my mom’s Autumn equinox party. Last night I made a batch of pumpkin spice cakes/muffins with a vanilla cream-cheese filling. The second batch came out a lot better than the first, because I learned to use enough cooking spray to get the muffins to release from the decorative maple-leaf and pumpkin shaped baking tray without having to cut them out.

Thanks to the rain, and some really heavy sales at work I’ve been kind of stressed, and kind of depressed, but I’ve been trying to stay productive on Annie. Even if I can’t get a page entirely finished to post, I’ve been working on scripts, getting issues print-ready, and working on pages ahead of que. It still feels a little hollow in that I don’t have anything to show you all yet, but I’m doing what I can to keep working and keep moving forward, so thank you for baring with me.

In other news, Intervention Con is this month, the 16th through 18th, and I’ll be there with Kat, Jen from LaSalle’s Legacy, Eren and Chez from Tamuran, and many many other super talented people. So if you’re in the area, you should come ^_^
